Polyethylene Film Types
LOW DENSITY Industry workhorse. Basic, lowcost, mutipurpose film, used in the widest variety of applications. LINEAR LOW DENSITY Versatile, tough, often used as an alternative to low density film. Allows economical downgauging with equivalent or superieor performance. HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT - HIGH DENSITY Versatile, tough, often used as an alternative to low density film. Allows economical downgauging with equivalent or superieor performance. SHRINK Heat shrinkable, tough film used for product and load protection, integrity and stability. These basic film types, along with high clarity film and copolymer blends, are available in basic mono-layer, as well as co-extruded multilayer configurations to serve a wide range of packaging appplications.
